Reference chart – Minimum wage – as of June 7, 2016
Many states are focusing legislative efforts on raising the minimum wage. California has enacted changes for the future. Local governments, many in the Bay Area, have enacted their own higher minimum wage rates.
The law firm of Squire Patton Boggs on their Employment Law Worldwide blog recently posted a 12 page reference chart with minimum wage rates nationally – current and scheduled increases. California alone covers 5 pages. Great detailed comments of the particulars for jurisdictions.
