A Guide to Guardianship
This video guide will give a brief overview to patrons considering guardianship of children whose parents are unable to care for them. General information about guardianship is covered in two chapters; court clerks and a citizen familiar with the process describe the steps. The citizen cautions that it’s a complicated, time-consuming process. Also covered is brief explanation of the proof of service. Similar information is given on the courts’ website, and does not constitute legal advice. (English only, 13 minutes)
