The Alameda County Law Library currently subscribes to Wolters Kluwer’s Intelliconnect —  an electronic resource which provides comprehensive California and Federal taxation information.  IntelliConnect is the next generation tool for researching content of Commerce Clearing House (CCH)  — one of the leading publishers over the past decades for tax information.

Included are database files for the titles:  US Master Tax Guide, Standard Federal Tax Reporter, and the California State Tax Reporter.  ACLL’s resources are perfect for those local legal practitioners whose practice is not focused on taxation but need to access, on occasion, detailed and authoritative tax information for their clients.

Key features:

  • Easy searching and browsing
  • Filtering for fine-tuned results
  • Split-screen display for easier navigation
  • Multiple searches saved in tab format:

With IntelliConnect, you perform your search and then filter the results to suit your needs. This allows you to quickly search all content without the time-consuming process of selecting specific publications.  You can even use IntelliConnect to search the practice titles and other secondary tax information sources including CCH tools and “SmartCharts” —  the summaries and guides that help prepare forms.  The tax information archives reach back into the 1980’s.  Also included as part of the subscription is Intelliforms – a tax form library.

Intelliconnect is available in the Oakland and Hayward libraries on the public computers and over WiFi to your laptops and smart electronic devices at http://intelliconnect.cch.com/.
