Wi-Fi Network Name Change

The Alameda County Law Library offers patrons access to free wireless Internet service at its Main and Branch locations. To reduce confusion, the library recently changed the name of its wireless network from “Internet” to “LAW_LIBRARY_WIFI.” No password is required to use the library’s wireless network.

As an added benefit, patrons in the library can also access two of the library’s subscription databases, OnLaw and HeinOnline, directly from their laptops through the library’s wireless network.

The databases are accessed from the library’s Legal Databases page. The database descriptions include hyperlinks for connecting to OnLaw and HeinOnline through the library’s wireless network.
